"The Obama campaign rolls out its June fundraising numbers today, which meet the sky-high expectations the campaign faces and surpass a recent wave of rumors of a relatively slow month.
The sum nearly equals Obama's -- and the American political -- record of $55 million in February."

Neal W. emailed the correct answer to yesterday's trivia quiz. The question, you may or may not recall, was, "What 'record' does Des Moines City Councilmember Chris Coleman hold?"
Councilmember Coleman has never missed a Des Moines City Council meeting -- not a single one. He is the "Ironman" of Iowa politics, having attended more consecutive council meetings than anyone, ever.
